We Are Daugavieši
The Daugava River is our strength, inspiration, and opportunity – our past, present, and future. It has long enabled free travel across Latvia, fostering the growth of coastal cities, including Koknese. With the arrival of the Crusaders, the Hanseatic trade network reached Latvia, further advancing development.
Today, in the 21st century, we continue this tradition of trade, contributing to the growth of Koknese, ourselves, and Latvia as a whole.
